Matcha White Chocolate Cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar with a mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips with a spatula.
  7. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and lightly golden. The centers will still be soft.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
