Sales Partner Terms

Draft, 12 October 2026. These terms are a working draft and must be reviewed by a solicitor, and the company details completed, before the programme opens to the public.

1. Who we are

The programme is run by TeaTrade (“we”): [registered company name, number and address to be inserted]. Contact: [email protected].

2. Your status

You act as an independent contractor. You are not our employee, agent or partner in law, you may not bind us, and you are responsible for your own costs, equipment, tax and insurance.

3. The programme

You may ask us to build a private preview page for a brand's website, and introduce that brand to a TeaTrade Brand Partner listing. A listing is a paid, labelled placement; it is not editorial content, and we make no promise of traffic, search rankings, AI citations or sales.

4. Attribution

A brand is credited to you if it subscribes through a preview page you requested. If two partners ask for the same brand, the first request wins. Brands that already have a page on TeaTrade, and brands that have asked not to be approached, are not eligible. We decide eligibility in good faith and may decline a request.

5. Commission

6. Your conduct

7. Brand information

Previews use information the brand publishes on its own website (name, description, logo, address, products). A preview is private and not indexed. We remove a preview, and add the brand to our do-not-build list, as soon as the brand asks.

8. No guarantee of income

We do not guarantee that you will earn anything. Page requests are limited, and we may change the limits.

9. Changes and ending

We may change these terms, the commission rates for brands not yet closed, or end the programme, on 30 days' notice. Commission already locked for a brand continues while that brand stays subscribed and you comply with these terms. Either of us may end your participation at any time. We may do so immediately, and withhold unpaid commission obtained through a breach or fraud, if you breach these terms.

10. Liability

Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission due to you at the time of the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or lost profits.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have where you live.
