Become a TeaTrade Sales Partner
Help tea brands get seen. Introduce them to a verified TeaTrade brand profile and a standing, clearly labelled presence on the World Tea Map, and earn recurring commission for as long as they stay subscribed. It is commission only: there is no fee to join, no targets, and no guaranteed income.
What you are offering brands
Digital visibility for tea brands. A TeaTrade Brand Partner listing gives a brand:
- A verified profile. A dedicated brand page, checked against the brand's own website before it goes public.
- A presence on the World Tea Map. A pin for its headquarters and each shop, where tea buyers browse.
- Built to be found. Plain-text content and structured data, so search engines and AI assistants can read and understand the brand.
- Control. The brand edits its own page, in place, at any time.
Lead with visibility and presence, and let the preview do the selling: it shows the brand its own page, already built.
How it works
- Join, free. Create a TeaTrade account, accept the terms and get your partner code.
- Request a page. Enter a brand's website. We build a private, PIN-protected preview of its page and map pin, usually within 30 minutes, with no work from you.
- Pitch it. Send the brand the link and PIN. It sees exactly what it would get. The preview is hidden from Google and only goes public if the brand chooses to.
- Earn. If the brand clicks “Go live”, the checkout takes 10% off its first month automatically, the brand is credited to you, and you earn commission on every payment it makes.
What you earn
| Your Nth closed brand | Commission on every payment |
|---|---|
| 1st to 50th | 20% |
| 51st to 100th | 25% |
| 101st onwards | 27.5% |
- The rate is fixed for each brand, for as long as it stays subscribed. A brand you close as your 10th earns you 20% for life, even once you are past 50 brands.
- Commission is paid on what the brand actually pays, excluding any tax. Shop pages are billed on the same subscription, so they earn you commission too.
- Listing prices rise as more brands join (see the pricing page), so brands that join later pay more, and you earn more on them.
- Commission is held for 30 days, then paid through Stripe. A refunded or disputed payment reduces or cancels the commission on it.
A worked example. A Founding Member brand with a headquarters page (£50) and one shop (£25) pays £75 a month. With the 10% first-month offer its first payment is £67.50, which earns you £13.50. Every later month earns you £15, for as long as it stays.
Be realistic. This is commission only on a new product, and the amounts per brand are modest. It rewards patient introductions to brands that genuinely suit a listing, not volume. Most partners will earn a side income at best, and some will earn nothing. We can't promise you any income.
The rules, in short
- Tell the truth. A listing is a paid placement and says so. Never promise traffic, search rankings, AI citations or sales: nobody can. The pricing page states exactly what is and isn't promised.
- Contact brands lawfully. Identify yourself, only approach businesses you may lawfully approach, and stop the moment a brand says no. Tell us and we'll never build a page for it.
- Stay independent, stay honest. You are not an employee, and you must not pose as TeaTrade or as the brand. Don't buy listings yourself, or arrange for friends to, to earn commission.
- Keep previews private. Share a preview link and PIN only with the brand it was built for.
Questions
- Is joining restricted?
Joining is open to anyone. Page requests are limited at first (3 a week) and the limit grows with every brand you close, so new accounts can't flood the system.
- What if two partners target the same brand?
The first request wins. The second is declined, and nobody is told who asked.
- How are brands credited to me?
By the preview page you requested. The brand does not need to type a code: its checkout recognises the page.
- How and when am I paid?
Through Stripe Connect, daily, once the 30-day hold on a payment has passed. You complete a short identity check with Stripe. Partners must be based in the UK, the EEA, Switzerland, the US or Canada. Until payouts are set up, your commission keeps accruing.
- What about tax?
You are self-employed and responsible for your own tax.
- What can a brand do with its preview?
Ignore it, ask us to remove it, or go live. We build previews only from information the brand publishes on its own website.
